The Omapere reached Tuparoa at noon yesterday. She was unable to work To!ago in the morning, owing to a heavy sea on the bar. The Talune now loaves Auckland on Tuesday next, and passes through Gisborne on Wednesday, instead of Tuesday, as previously advertised. Last launch C> p.m.

Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny arrives from Napier this morning. Her cargo includes a quantity of building material for Messrs Halgcty and Co.’s wool stores. After till; schooner Aotea landed two boat loads at Tokomaru J3av on Wednesday operations had to be suspended for a time, owing to the heavy surf on the beach.

The sell ooner Gisborne has completed loading a cargo of timber at Mercury Bay for Gisborne, and sails for this port with the lirst favorable wind.

The scow Whakapao (Captain Bonner) put into the Bay late on Wednesday. She left Auckland on Friday last with a consignment of building materials for the bridge contract on the Tokomaru road. On arriving at Tokomaru Bay it was found impossible to work the cargo. The scow will return to the Coast as soon as the weather moderates. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
