Lady Ilopctoun opened tho exhibition of designs for tho Federal flag seal. Tho Federal flag is now flying from tho building. Tho prize of £2OO for the flag has boon divided amongst five competitors, including W. Stephens, Upper Vincent street, Auckland, for the seal of one design. The obverse of others was reversed and accepted.
