RETURNING TROOPERS.

The Premier has received the following cable message from South Africa:— Troopers J. W. Baker, Palmerston North, Sixth Contingent, and J. G. Whyte, Auckland, Seventh Contingent, are both doing well, Departures from Capetown by the steamer Sopochles :—Sixth Contingent: Sergeant-Major S. Skiimiau (Dunedin), Lance Corporal M. E. Herbert (Wellington), Troopors J. D. Williamson (Marlborough), J. Eagan (Wellington), F. A. Miller (Blenheim), N. Thompson (Dunedin), 3154 Wallis L. E. Hooker (Ilokianga), A. J. Davidson (Fairlio), Canterbury. Sevonth Contingent : Troopors J. F. Airloy (Dunedin), T. Butier (Mauaia), Wanganui Troopers 1340 Tapper, 2343 (?) Walls, 2301 G. A. C. Tapper. Fifth Contingent: Macalvie (?), 4662 Humo.
