King Offered an "Order.”

London, July 15. Sir Thomas Lipton is telling a funny story about the King. He avers that tho King said to him : “ Look here, Sir Thomas, if you will do this for me I will give you an order.” “ Oh, sir,” responded Sir Thomas, “ this is too kind. It will do me a lot of good. I will have a price list sent to you at once.”

The King meant a decoration, of course, not an order for tea.
