A meeting of millers and flour merchants discussed the unsatisfactory state of the breadstuff's market caused by cut

ting prices and the large harvest. A surplus is expected in the early part of the year. It has been decided to fix tho leading brands of flour at £6 15s, second brands ,£6 12s 6d. Tho meeting recommended the Federal Treasurer to place a duty of a shilling a cental on wheat and two" shillings a cental on the produce g£ wheat.
