Dickson will be charged with embezzling sums of over .£4OOO. It is reported that tho defalcations extend over fifteen years. Racing is supposed to be the cause.

WARRANT OUT FOR ARREST OF LAY-READER.

A warrant lias been issued for the arrest of A. H. Percival, hon. treasurer of Trinity College, on a charge of larceny of tho property of the college. The alleged defalcations total over .£2OOO, and extended over a period of five years. Perpival has disappeared. He cauio from Auckland some years ago, where he had passed through St. Joseph’s College as a theological student. Since coming to Melbourne he acted as a lay-reader of Christ’s Church.
