A RETIREMENT.
AN OLD SERVANT HARSHLY DEALT WITH.

Wellington, last night. At a meeting of the Education Board this afternoon, it was decided that as two inspectors wore sufficient for the work of the Board, Mr Lee, chief inspector, should retire at the end of the year. Mr Lee has been twenty-eight years in the service of the Board.
