'The s.s. Waikarc leaves for South tomorrow evenin". The last launch, Tilwera, loaves the wharf at 7 o’clock. The schooner Aotea (Captain Skinner) arrived in the 1 lay from Auckland and Coast ports at l.'lO yesterday afternoon, and was herthed at the wharf at • > o'clock. The whole of the coast cargo of SO tons was successfully worked. The schooner Waiapu was sightc 1 leaving Turihau for North at '.) yesterday morning. The barque F.niproza was sighted in the vicinitv of East ( ape on Tuesday and Wednesday, trying to weather round that point, which was successfully done on Wednesday night. The weather experienced, with the exception of the first day out uml the two days’ sheltering at Waipiro, was generally tine. The s.s. Waihi is having a thorough overhaul made in her machinery, consequently si ic will he laid up this week. Messrs Kennedy and Evans’ steamer, the Tawera, will in the meantime toAder all steamers in the roadstead. The s.s. ilawen left the Bluff yesterday. ■She leaves Oamaru to-day and Timaru tomorrow. She will call at Gisborne if sufficient inducement offers. Importers should wire their orders promptly. The s.s. Tc Anau left Napier at 5 p.m. yesterday, and is due here early this morning. The last launch leaves the wharf at H a.m.
