By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Brisbane, Aug. 26. Another shipment of 500 cattle is being sent to South Africa, also 100 heifers, purchased by the Government for tho Government of Natal.
Good general rains are falling, being especially heavy in tho southern districts.
The recent rains have caused a great improvement of crop prospects. Evert districts which have suffered drought for several years arc promising.
