AUCKLAND NEWS.

A SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. The Coroner held an inquest on the body of a man, name unknown, whose remains were found on the Waitakerci ranges a few days ago. Dr Lewis deposed that the remains were those of a male adult of about 110 years of age, and had been lying there for about three years. The jury, after hearing the evidence of other witnesses, returned a verdict that the deceased, name unknown, had committed suicide some time in 1898.
