R. Ellerman, chairman of directors of the Leyhmds line of steamers untii their recent purchase by Mr Pierpont Morgan, has bought the City line, Limited, of fourteen steamers, with a tonnage of forty thousand, trading between Glasgow, Liverpool, and the East Indies. It is understood that the purchase price is -£750,000.
