GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. THE following Resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council, held on Tuesday, 20th August, 1901: RESOLVED that for the purpose of providing Interest upon Special Loan of £8,200, raised from the Bank of New Zealand Officers Guarantee and Provident Association for the purpose of paying off part of a Special Loan theretofore raised, the Council makes a Special Rate of Three , Pence in the £ upon the annual value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Gisborne. Such Rate to be an annually recurring Rate payable in two equal sums half-yearly, and shall be levied year by year until the Loan of £8,200 is paid off. NOTICE is hereby given that such Resolution will be confirmed at a Meeting of the Council to be held at the Council Chambers, Lowe Street, Gisborne, on the 17th Day of I SEPTEMBER, 1901, at 7.30 p.m. I R.
