Band Contest.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) New Plymouth, last night. A representative meeting of citizens was held to-night to institute arrangements for the forthcoming contest of tho North Island Brass Bands Association, to be held here. The Mayor presided. A large committee was formed. The project was taken up with much enthusiasm.
