A Bradford man has invented a machine for removing wool from sheepskins which takes it off more cheaply than the fellmonger's methods, and leaves both wool and skins worth more. It is described as an “ electric knife,” which burns off the wool. Tiffs means that the roots of the wool are left in the skin. One of the witnesses before the Conciliation Board recently rather startled his bearers by stating that his hour of knocking off work depended on “ the atmosphere of the weather.” —Star,
