When excavating Vanrliynsdorp, the Boers captured Vanrylm, who was recently bailed on a charge of treason, and two political prisoners, who refused to accompany thorn. Colonel Crabbe engaged Kruitzinger, pursuing him north-west of Middleburg, and capturing 100 horses. Lord Kitchener's weekly report shows that tho enemy lost 39 killed and 30 wounded, including Commandant Moil, dangerously. Six hundred and eighty prisoners were taken, including Wolmarans, Chairman of tho Volksraad. There were 83 surrenders, and 2400 rouuds of ammunition, 734 waggons, 505 S horses, and 33,000 cattle were captured, mostly in the Orange Colony. London, Aug. 14.

Private W. Donnelly, of tho Seventh New Zealand Contingent, has been slightly wounded, but the locality is not indicated.

TROOPER WOUNDED.

The Premier has also received a cablo through tho Governor, stating that 4242 (? 4288) William Cooper Donnelly (? Peter Cooper Donnelly) was slightly wounded at Virginia on the 7th inst. Donnelly is tho only man of that name in tho Sovonth Contingent, so the number and namo given as corrected would scorn to bo corcect.
