The U.S.S. Company’s s.s. AVaikarc (Captain Stewart) arrived from Southern ports at 820 on Saturday morning, and proceeded to Auckland and Sydney shortly before 1 o’clock. The Tyser liner Star ot New_ Zealand (Captain Hart) arrived from Napier on Saturday morning. The steamer was brought to her anchorage by the harbormaster, and Captain Hart expressed satisfaction at securing the services of a pilot. The Omuperc left Wellington at 1 p.rn. on Saturday. She leaves Napier at 5 this evening, and Gisborne at 8 a.m. tomorrow. for Fast Const ports and Auckland. No cargo will be received after 4 p.m. to-day. The Kuonyn left Auckland at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and is due early this morning with a cargo of coal for Messrs Clayton Jims. The Koonya will leave to-night for Newcastle direct. The s.s. Mount arrived from Auckland at I.la p.m., on Saturday, aud arrived at . l ii) p.m. yesterday. The schooner AVaiapu (Captain Martin) arrived from Mercury Bay oil Saturday. The schooner left Mercury Bay on Tuesday last, and experienced moderate weather with light variable winds.
