IT is hereby notified that it is the intention of the above-named Board, at a meeting to be held on FBIDAY, August 16th, 1901, to Strike a General Bate of Three Farthings in the £, in terms of Section 37 of “The Eating Act, 1891,” and Section 114 of “The Eoad Boards Act, 1882”; the said rate to be on the capital value of all rateable property within the said .Eoad Board District, for the period of one year, from the Ist April, 1901, to the 31st' March, 1902, and to be due and payable in one sum on August 31st, 1901, at the Office of the Board, Lowe street, Gisborne.
