The Government steamer Tutanekai (Captain Post) arrives from Grcymouth today with a cargo of sleepers for the Railway Department.
HI Messrs Richardson and Co.’s s.s. Fanny (Captain Nelson) arrived from Napier on .Saturday, after a very rough trip. The inward cargo consisted of -10 tons of coal, IiGH-tft timber, lit I sacks grass-seed, and 19 packages sundries. The Fanny returned to Napier in the evening. The brigantine Aratapn is taking in ballast at the Haiti wharf, and will probably sail to-morrow.
The scow Ururoa is discharging her cargo of coal at the town wharf. The Union Company's s.s. Omapere (Captain Hutton) arrived from Auckland, via Coast ports, at 1 o'clock on Saturday, mid left for the South in the evening. Passengers—lnward : Misses Smith, Collins, Ilainea, Wakara, Mesdames Church and family, Scott and two children, h’ox, Murphy, Messrs l.ushlcy, Miller, Griffin, Mokature. Outward, nil. The Union Co.'s steamer Tc Allan arrived from Auckland at four o’clock yesterday afternoon, and left for tho South during the evening. Passengers : Inwards Mesdames liopata, Jiloomlield, Ttikua, Ngata, Willesto, Pickett, Wilson ; Messrs Aniess, Cordien, Hailey, Muita, 1 tavern, (juiini, Fnmkhauis, G.
