The U.S.S. Company's To Annu (Cap tain McDougal) arrived from Napier and Wellington yesterday morning, and proceeded north at nineo clock. Inward passengers: Mrs "Warren ; Messrs Ilagerty, Beasley, Brodic, White, Lyndon, Smith, Williams, Jeff, McKay, Murray, Crompton, Falkncr, Cralliths, DiUen. Outward: Miss Sykes, Messrs Edgecomb, Patterson, Shaw, and Smith (2). The Union Company’s s.s. Waikaro arrived from Auckland at 2.30 yesterday afternoon, bringing the following passengers :—Misses Morse, Rcadford, Howard; Mesdumcs MeCredie, Hughes and child ; Messrs Leighton, l’arkyn, Bromley, Ramson, Johnston (2), Finn, Grace, Perry, [Stubbs, Camall, Atkinson, Moore, Libian, Miran. Outward: Misses McKay, Scott, O'Rourke, Cross, Kirk, and Bland ; Mesdames liidsdnlo and infant, Gray, Sherrill, Anderson, Linton, White, Kennedy and family (0); Messrs Sherrill', Eichclbaum, Jacks, Guthrie, Smith, Muir, Baris, White, llarland. Rowley, Anderson, Christopherson (ii), Mere Whareke, Kennedy, Haycock, Apita Tehamo. The schooner Gisborne arrived at Auckland on Sunday from Gisborne, and is loading a cargo of coal, iron, wire, and sundries for Messrs Clayton Bros.
The s.s. star c>f New Zealand is due at Gisborne about the Oth August to take the cargo from this port intended for the s.s. Tomoana. The brigantine Aratapu will probably be ready to sail by the end of the week. She proceeds to Mercury Bay to load timber for Dunedin. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS.
