The mail agent reports that the Sierra on her outward voyage reached Honolulu on Juno 25th, and there found the Oceanic Company’s Zealandia in ft disabled condition, having put back after leaving for San Francisco. The Sierra took on her passengers and some perishable freight, but the passage was very stormy, and she only arrived on July 2. The mails were sent off the same evening, but failed to connect with the Saturday steamer from New York, and had to lie there till the following Wednesday. On arrival at San Francisco it was decided that the Sierra should take up the Zealandia’s running to Honolulu, and the Ventura, whose overhaul was progressing slowly, owing to the strike, was hastily prepared for the Australian trip. She left on July 11th. Another outbreak of bubonic plague has taken plaeo at Honolulu. One death was officially recorded on July 6th, though the Board of Health declares that there have been no fresh cases sineo that date. The mailboat brings 872 bags of mails for New Zealand,
