Trawling Industry.
DENUDING HAUR VKI GULF OF FISH.
[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Auckland, last night. A meeting of line fishermen was held to-day, to consider the question of trawling in the Hauraki Gulf. After discussion, a large number of those present signed a petition to Parliament, stating that the present mode of trawling will in course of time denude the gulf of fish.
