FOUL-MOUTHED FATHER OF A LARGE FAMILY.
[By Telegraph Press Association.] Mangaweka, last night,
Great indignation has been caused here by the imposition of a sentence of six months’ imprisonment on an old settler named J. Gardner for being drunk and using obsence language. A petition is being signed as a protest against the sentence. Gardner is the father of a large family of young children.
