The barque G. M. Tucker, concerning which some anxiety was folt, has arrived. Captain Oliver reports fearful weather on the voyage across from Newcastle. Tho sails wore blown away, tho rigging damaged, and tho forecastle knocked about. The officers and crew suffered privations, and most of them bear evidences of injury received during tho buffeting about which the vessel received. On Thursday week the barque was off Capo Farewell, but was blown 120 miles out to sea by a south-west gale. The chief officer was washed overboard; but was pulled back on deck by the foot by one of the crew. Tho supply of fresh water gave out, but tho ship’s company managed to condense sufficient sea-wator for their requirements. Captain Olivor states that the voyage was the worst in the whole of his long experience.
