At the periodical sale of sheepskins, prices'were irregular ; 2510 were offered, and 2350 sol*k at- par to a farthing decline: The hemp market is fair. The Wellington April-June shipment realised i 224 15s, and the May shipment T 25 10s. Tin, on spot, is quoted at .£l3l ; three months, .£ll6 10s. Frozen meat. —Crossbred wethers and maiden ewes are at: Canterbury 3 7-Sd, Dunedin and Southland, 3 5-16 d. North Island stocks are unchanged. Lamb: Prime Canterbury is at 5 l-8d; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland, Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, 4 7-SdT lliver Plate is unchanged in price. New Zealand beef. ISO to 2201b5, fair average quality: ox fores, 2d; ox binds, unchanged in price. Wool.—At tho sales, there was a large catalogue, and a brisk sale, prices being firm. The brands sold included Moa Flat, at fijjd. Up to the date of the present series, 225,376 bales have been catalogued, and 210,019 sold.
