INCH VALLEY DISASTER.

CULPABLE NEGLECT OF GO VERNMENT ENGINEER.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] Dunedin, last night. The inquest was concluded to-day touching the circumstances connected with the death of the three men killed by a fail of earth at the Inch Valley lime kiln works. The jury returned a Verdict to the effect that tho death of deceased was caused by the want of proper precautions and appliances, duo to the culpable neglect of duty by George Francis Robinson, the Engineer in charge of the work for the Government.

It is not known if any further proceed iugs will be taken.
