New Zealand beef, 180 to 2201 b, fair average quality, ox fores, 2 l-16th d ; ox hinds, 3Jd. River Plate crossbred or merino wethers, heavy and light, 2j’d. The lead imports are 19,095 tons (Australian 5873 tons) ; exports, 5862 tons. Tin, spot, £132 ; three months, £ll7 10s.
Wool—Prices are firm. Moa Flat sold at 7,!d ; Puketoe (Otago), Bjd ; Elderslie, 10jjd. The quantity catalogued to date is 142,905 bales ; sold, 131,976 bales.
