CORONER'S INQUESTS.
ACCIDENT AND SUICIDE. [By Telegraph—Press Association.] Invercargill, last night. The coroner and jury to-day found that John Murdoch was killed at tho Bluff on Saturday night through coming in contact with some portion of a train while it was in motion, and state that in their opinion the ends of the platform and railway yards are insufficiently lighted. At the inquest on Coleman (not Collin) Ross, who hung himself at Mabel, the evidence showed that liis mind had been affected for some time, and a verdict was returned accordingly.
