BOER TREATMENT OF WOUNDED. A SERIOUS CHARGE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, July 12. In the House of Commons Mr Broilrick stated that in response to his telegram enquiring in reference to the truth of Wallace's statement. Lord Kitchener had wived that he had received the testimony of seven men who saw the Boors shoot the wounded at Ylakfontein. Mr Brodriek added that orders luvd been given to take the evidence ot these men on oath. As a result of night operations, 50 Boers were captured and 78 surrendered near Edenburg. Methuen, near Zcerust, surprised and captured a laager with In Boers, 29 rifles, 2000 rounds of ammunition, n 8 waggons, and 000 bags of grain, and he also collected 10 Boer families. The Daily News says that 00 l'.randfort Boers, dejected and ragged, have been brought to Bloemfontein. Do Wet’s commando is near Bloemfontein. . ,
In the House of Commons Mr Brodriek announced that Lord Kitchener s despatches contained no suggestion ot the inpendence of the late Republics, t lie point whereon peace negotiations laded.
