Shippers will do well to note that the Waihora leaving on Sunday proceeds through to the Bluff, Hobart, ami Melbourne, thus saving transhipment and expense.
The Omapere worked Tuparoa, Wiiipiro, and Toltoinaru yesterday. She will complete her work at Tolago Bay this morning, and arrive during the afternoon. Tho Union Steamship Company aro in receipt of cable advices that the s.s. Umballa leaves Calcutta on loth July for New Zealand ports, and that she will be followed by the s.s. Ujinn on the 3rd August. These steamers take the place of the Übra and lkhona, previously notified.
The s.s. Mararoa left Sydney at -t p.m. on Wednesday for Auckland, Gisborne, and Southern ports. The schooner Aotea leaves for Auckland to-morrow evening. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Friday.
