Another Fire at Auckland.

Auckland, last night Early this morning a fire was discovered in the third storey oi' Robert Furness and Company’s premises, Fort street. The brigade were quickly on fcho scene, leads of hose were got to work through a window, and they soon had the blaze suppressed, confining it to the storey in which it started, used as a lollie factory and jam store. The goods in other storeys were damaged by water, and the roof was destroyed. The damage is several hundred pounds. The damage by lire at Furness’s is over .£2OOO. The insurances on the stock and plant are : Alliance £2150, Phoenix £SOO, Manchester £250, Norwich Union £SOO, Sun £SOO. on the building £IOOO in the New Zealand.
