Arrived, River Boyne, from Kaipara. She experienced violent gales, and lost her boats and some sails. Considerable dai nage was done to the deck cargo and fittings. At (lie sheep sales 4093 sold for .£27.270. compared with 35.50 sheep for ,£27,608 last year. There was a fall of about 33 per cent., though the quality was well maintained. The decline was ehiclly due to the pastoralists of the drought-stricken districts of New South Wales being unable to come into the market.
