MOHAWK MINSTRELS.
At the Academy of Music on Mondnv rvening the Mohawk Minstrels make their first appearance in Gisborne. A capital programme has been arranged, and even--thing promises towards a successful onto, tainiuent. The company is a fairly strong one, possessing several performers of notice. Messrs Andrews, Foreman, and Holdsworth have appeared in many colonial towns, |and are considered first-class performers in their respective characters. The entertainment will be free from anything in the direction of vulgarity, the aim of the artists being to please and not offend. The prices of admission are moderate, being fixed at 2s and Is, which should ensure a good house.
