ORDER OF RECHABITES.
The half-yearly summoned meeting of. the Gisborne Tent, No. 54, 1.0. U., held on July did, was. largely attended. Bio. 31. G. Nasmith (jun.) C. 11., presiding. The election of officers for the ensuirg term resulted as follows:—Past Chi-, f llidcr, lfro. A. AV. Kirk; Chief Ruler, Bro. 31. G. Nasmith (jun.); Deputy Ruler, Bro. T. .McGrath ; Secretary, llro. . Georgc-son : Minute Secretary, Bro. A. \Y. Kirk ; Treasurer, Bro. AV. Birch ; Book Steward. Bro. J. Peekover; Cash Steward. Bro. E. libeling; Levitc, Bro. Pcdersc ; Guardian, Bro. A. Pool ; Judicial Coi, . mittce, Bros. Birch, Brabazon, Kirk, Pool. Webb, Pedersen, Cooper, Peekover, fie Chief Ruler, Deputy Ruler, and Secret, ry The officers were duly installed by the Chief Ruler. Correspondence in regard to the proposed Ladies’ Tent was received and de lit with, and it was resolve 1 to hold a meeting of the ladies on Friday. The Druids Lodge forwarded a ticket for their social to be held, on July 9th. It was decided that P.C.R. Bro. Kirk represent the Tent at the gathering. Discussion took place on juvenile matters, and it was decided to establish a transfer fund in connection with the Tent, the payments to the fund to cover the initiation fee into the adult Tent; also to admit honorary members into the Juvenile Tent for the payment of 6d per quarter. At the meeting of the Ballancc Tent, No. 12, 1.0.R..5.U. also held that evening. Bro. W. Bloomfield, C.R. presiding, the following officers were elected :—Past Chief Ruler, Bro. W. Bloomfield ; Chief Ruler, Bro. J. t Dods ; Deputy Ruler, Bro. ■J. Gcorgeson : Secretary, Bro. AAA Quigley; Minute Secretary, Bro. -J. Peach ; Levite, Bro. 31. Doyle ; Inner Guardian, Bro. AV. Luttrell; Outer Guardian, Bro. E. Bloomfield. The officers were installed in their respective offices.
