Mud Scraping.
(To the Editor of Times.)
Sir, —Although the scraping of the streets may be a beneficial and necessary work, it is questionable whether it is sufficiently appreciated by the after-dark pedestrian who inadvertently steps into one of the soupy mud-heaps left by the road scrapers. The obvious remedy is for one of the Borough carts to closely follow up these scrapers and have the slush removed at once, instead of leaving it after dark with the-above results,—l am, etc., One in the Soup,
