A Wanganui paper says that at the ! native school at lvoroniti (Corinth), up the Wanganui River, the Chairman of the local School Committee, Te Awe, is a diligent pupil. “We venture to assert,” says the paper quoted, “ that the fact of the chairman of a school committee being a pupil of the school is an unique experience for even democratic Mew Zealand.”
