ALLEGED FALSE PRETENCES.
DISAPPEARANCE OF THE ACCUSED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. At the Polico Court this morning, James A. Gome, auctioneer, was charged on the information of George Tuck, with having obtained £35 from informant by false pretences. Defendant did not appear, and the S.M. ordered a warrant to be issued for his arrest on a fresh information. Defendant has not been seen in town since Monday last, and is supposed to have left for Sydney by the Waikare that evening. The date of. the alleged offence is December 19th of last year.
