A Jockey’s Claim.
A REMARKABLE DECISION. (Py Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. In the Supremo Court to-day tho Chief Justice gave judgment in the case Peters v, Telford, an appeal from the judgment of Dr McArthur, S.M., who had given judgment for Telford, a jockey, for certain riding fees. Tho appeal was allowed on the ground that Telford was not a licensed jockey.
