THE County Council of the County of Cook intends to promote a Local Bill during the ensuing session of the General Assembly to effect the following objeots (1) To give the Council power, in addition to the powers it now possesses by virtue of “The Counties Act, 188 G,” and the amendments thereof, to raise funds necessary to defray the cost of the maintenance and repair of County roads by the imposition of license fees upon all vehicles drawn upon or along any road of the County.
