(Py Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, last night. '■ Walter Finnington, a visitor from ■' Featherston, was run over by a cab yes- • terday, and died in the Hospital during ’ the night. Feilding, last night. A four-year-old son of Air Crosby, Awahuri road, was seriously burnt this morning by his clothes catching fire, during the temporary absence of his parents from the room. He is not expected to recover. Auckland, last night. Marquis Williamson, 19, son of Mr Isaac Williamson, Te Kuni, on the Awanui river punt, fell overboard and was drowned. Hawera, last night. A serious accident happened this morning. A horse ridden by a boy, named Peter Grant, bolted. Mr T. T. Miller, manager of tiie Bank of Australasia, stopped the runaway, but both himself and the boy sustained bad injuries. The boy was hurt about the head, but at the present it is not thought to be dangerous. Miller has his pelvis splintered, and his shoulder hurt, and he sustained a severe scalp wound. It is not yet i known whether he has been injured internally. Christchurch, last night. Jane Millson, 75 years of ago, died suddenly this morning at Rangiora. The cause of death is supposed to be heart t disease. 1

Now Plymouth, last night. James Bellringer, one of the bestknown public men of Taranaki, died this morning from heart failure. He was for many years a Borough Councillor, four times Mayor, for a long time Chairman of tho Hospital Board, also a prominent Mason and Oddfellow.
