RUSSIAN SHIPBUILDERS. TWENTY WORKMEN BURNED TO DEATH. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, June 17.

The Daily Telegvaph states that the workmen in the Baltic shipbuilding yard at St. Petersburg struck, requiring_ the Government building of vessels entirely in Russian yards. Other yards, in sympathy, struck also. . ' A fire broke out on Galernit Island, where there are three Government shipbuilding yards. The fire did damage to the oxtent of 19 million roubles. The firemen saved a battleship and a cruiser, the construction of which was almost completed. Twenty workmen perished in the flames. The strikers are suspected of having caused the fire.
