DREDGING RETURNS.

The following are the dredging returns Golden Beach 440 z, Golden Bed, 31oz 3dwt, Perseverance Bloz, Success 290 z 2dwt 9grs, Waimurrra 220 z Bdwt, Earnscleugh'l. 20oz, Alexandra Eureka 20oz, OlriS 17oz 17dwt, Charlton Creek 16oz lOdwt, Golden Link 15oz 18dwt, Spec Gully looz 2dwt, Ngapara 111. 15oz, Waimumu Central 13oz 6dwt, Enterprise I. 9oz 14dwt 12grs, Globe 9oz 6dwt, Golden Treasure Boz lodwt, Lady Charlj ton 7oz 14dwt, Central Mataura 11. 7oz sdwt 17grs, Molyneux Hydraulic 6oz, Blue Duck soz lOdwt. The hi"h rivers have again prevented most of the fleet doing any work. Frost has set in, and it is probable that most of the dredges will be at work before the end of this week, Greyinouth, last night. The following are the dredging returns : Maori Queen, Soz Bdwt for the week; Pactolus, 260 z 14dwt for 117 hours; Waipuhai, 9oz for 160 hours ; Grey River, 40oz lOdwt for 120 hours; Leviathan, 430 z lOdwt for 115 hours; Ford’s Creek, 2loz ldwt for 163 hours. The Grey River is still not on bottom. The fords of the creek are getting nearer their proper ground. The is working steadily on solid ground. The Pactolus is still having much of the Old tailings to contend with*- %■
