SHIPPING.
The s.s. Waikarc (Captain Phillips) arrived from Napier at midnight on Saturday, with the following passengers : Mesdaines Parker and infant ; Misses Hunt, Churchcr, Anderson, Morgan, Baker, Rosie, Evans ; Messrs Barker (2), Baker, Hamilton, ltangi, Kohero, Elwood ; Captain Chrisp, Master Jennings, and twenty steerage. She left again early in the morning for Auckland with the following passengers : Mesdames Ahfeld, Bunn and two children, Chrisp, Smith ; Misses Wilson and Cowncs ; Messrs Thompson, Donovan, Quinn, Wilson, Cook, Craight, Wright, Martin, and Smart. The steamer Wcka (Captain Carlson) arrived on Saturday morning from Napier. She brought 750ffc timber, 395 posts, and Ifio packages of general merchandise. The Wcka returned in the evening, the following passengers having booked: Messrs Townley, Deere, Beasley, Holmes, Goldsmith, Larsen, Mitchell (2), -Matthews, Pyko, and Heed. The s.s. Waihora arrives from Auckland on Tuesday afternoon, and leaves for South at 5 p.m. The Omapcro arrives from South on Tuesday morning, and leaves for coastal ports and Auckland at 9 a.m. The s.s. Moura is due from South on Wednesday morning, and leaves for Auckland at 8 a.m.
The s.s. Xealumlia arrives from Southern ports on Saturday morning, and sails for Auckland and Sydney at 10 a.m. The schooner Aotea left Auckland for Gisborne on Saturday, with a full cargo. UNION STEAMSHIP COMPANY’S MOVEMENTS. Tuesday—Omapcro arrives from Westport, Wellington, and Napier early, and leaves for East Coast ports and Auckland.
