DEAD IN A DRAIN.

Napier, last night. A man named James Murphy, who had been working in Mr Donnelly’s swamp at Crissoge, was found dead this afternoon in a drain on the estate. At present no particulars are to hand as to whether deceased had a fit and fell in the drain or how he came by his death. An inquest will be held to-morrow.
