THE Proprietor o£ these Stables wishes to ingress upon the Public that his Stables are now on the most up-to-date lines, where customers are treated with civility and attention, and their horses with quietness and the best of fodder. The stock of Brakes, Broughams, Landaus, Wagonettes, Buggies, Gigs, etc., etc., are of the best, and are available for Weddings, Picnics, Funerals, Excursions, etc., at a few moments’ notice, and all orders for the above left with the Proprietor, will be creditably carried out at reasonable prices. A large well-grassed and watered paddock has lately been bought within three miles of Gisborne, where horses can be spelled. Owing to the increasing business and to accommodate the public travelling at night, the doors of the stables are never closed—a Night Groom being in constant attendance. The horses are of the best, having won among other prizes Ist in Double Harness and Ist Tandem (Four Years in Succession). . The Drivers kept can be relied upon, having gained first award in Driving Competitions. All sick horses (unless suffering from contagious diseases) cared for and doctored.
