London, Juno 8. In the raco for tho Oaks, in tho run home, Masheress slipped jthe bridlo an I fell, tripping Aota, whose jockey, Wolon, was injured, and ho was removod to tho hospital. Twenty-ono started for tho Oaks. Mon - day mado tho pace for tho winner. Sant’ Brigida was in proximity until reaching tho straight, where tho lot wore widespread, and tho race was won in a canter by six lengths. Time, 2min 44 2-ssec. Two lengths separated tho second and third horses.
American jockeys rode all threo placed horses.
Mr Foxkall Kccno, owner of tho winner, divided the stake botwoen American and British charities.
