MESSES COMMON, SHELTON’S

REPORT.

Musses Common, Shelton and Co. report that they hold thoir mo ithly sale at "Waoronga-a-hika yestorday, when thero was a largo attendance. Late prices wore fully sustained for oattlo, whilst slioop showed a strong upward tondency, compared with the last sale. Considerable improvement has beon made in the yards by motalling the more important of thorn, and tho change from mud to motal was fully appreciated by tho public. We yarded 1100 shcop and sold 1060, tho following pricos being realised :—Sovcntyfivo 4-tooth wothors, 12s 6d ; 118 2-tooth wethers, lls Gd ; 42 forward ewes, 10s 8d; 244 ditto, 10s 3d ; 433 full-mouth owes in lamb, 10s ; inferior owes, from 6s 9d to 7s 9d. Fat cows sold up to J 64 18s 6d, and calves up to £2. MESSRS "WYLLIE AND MASON’S SALE.

Mossrs Wyllie and Mason report that they hold their usual stook sale at Wae- ' ronga-n-hika yards yesterday, when the following prices woro realised :—l3-month to 2-yoar-old steers, £4 15s; good yearnings, from £2 IBs to £3 ; station cows, in low condition, £3 18s 6d; springing “ hoifers, £4 7s 6d. Sheep : Wethers, 11s to 12s; full-mouthed owes, 10s 6d to 10s lid; oloso-woollod, full-mouthed ewos, in forward condition, 10s. Horses : An inferior lot of young Coast horsos brought from 10s to 60s. Bacon pigs were passod in at £2. An oxcellont lunch was provided by Host O’Connell, of tho Wncrcnga-a-kika Hotel, and was well patronised.
