SOLDIERS SHOOT DOWN MEN AND WOMEN.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Madrid, June 3. Sharp fighting has occurred in Coruna between the civic guard and workmen. Tho lattor sympathised with tho Octroi oilicials, who aro on striko.
The guard fired into tho crowd, killing five men and women.
The city lias been proclaimed to bo in a state of siege.
