The Welsh Fusiliers, acting as policemen, tried to prevent French, soldiers from plundering a liouso on the Talcu road. Two hundred French and Gormans then attacked the Fusiliers with bayonets and bricks, wounding four Fusiliers. Tho Fusiliers fired, killing one French' man, and wounding three. Their fire also wounded fivo Germans.
