PREPARATIONS ON A SCALE OF UNEQUALLED MAGNIFICENCE. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright London, June 1. The Tithes states that the Ophir, with the Royal visitors, is expected to reach Canada on September 14th, tho landing taking place at Halifax or Sydney, Nova Scotia ; thoy should arrive at Quobcc on the 16th September, when Lord and Lady Minto and Sir Wilfrid Laurier will officially welcome them. - ■ - The preparations for the welcome are on a scale of unequalled magnificence. Tho Royal visitors will spend two days at Montreal, whero they will be tho guosts of Lord Strathcona. They will spend four days at Ottawa, tho Duke leaving for tho Canadian Pacific Coast on September 24th ; then spending ton days at Manitoba, the northern territories, and Columbia, and returning via Ontario, Toranto, Hamilton, Niagara, Thousand Isles, and St. Laurence, embarking at Halifax for Newfoundland on October 16th.
