AUCKLAND NEWS.
DR MORLEY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Auckland, last night. It is stated that Dr Morley, Wesleyan Connexional Secretary, has been appointed by the General Conference of the Australasian Methodist Church to an office in Melbourne. The nature of the appointment has not yet transpired. MAIIUTA. At a meeting of the Royal Reception Executive Committee a telegram was received from the Premier, stating that it was impossible to alter the arrangements so as to permit Mahuta to present a special address in Anckland.
